Our mission is to create an ideal surf environment for anyone looking to improve their knowledge and skills. By promoting the importance of ocean knowledge, safety, and surf etiquette, while creating a community of like minded surfers who understand those values, we aim to ensure the most fun and safe surf experience on the East End.
Offering 4 categories of surf instruction; Private, Semi-Private, and Coaching for beginner, intermediate & advanced levels. We also offer a kid’s surf club.
Meet Pat Fallon & Mike Poli
These two Montauk natives are known throughout the community as reputable watermen and surf coaches. Their lessons are coveted here at Ditch Plains Beach and across the East End. As our founders, they aim to build a community of like-minded individuals interested in taking up the sport of surfing or enhancing their existing skill set. They have assembled a team of some of the most skilled watermen in our area, who are knowledgeable, fun, and CPR/First Aid certified. All local, all the time. Learn more.

Building Better Surfers
Our goal is to develop competent, independent surfers - Not Kooks. We are stoked when we see our students holding their own in the lineup and we’re with them every step of the way. Once graduated from surf instruction, we move on to Coaching; surf etiquette, navigating the lineup, paddling techniques, positioning for better take-offs, weight distribution through turns and open face carves, how to link your wave together with turns to keep you ahead of the white water. We continue to follow our student's progress while they're surfing independently and we’re always giving them pointers on their journey to become a more competent surfer Learn more.
