Making a difference

Mike, Pat and many of our coaches and friends volunteer at the premier A Walk on Water event in Montauk during the second weekend of September every year. AWOW as it’s known by many, aims to harness the ocean's transformative powers by delivering life-changing surf therapy to people with unique needs and their families. They empower these athletes as they unlock their inner stoke through the emotional and incredibly transforming experience of surfing. EESC also sponsors and works with Bob Miller and AWOW to put on a twice weekly surf camp for athletes with special needs during the summer. Surf Therapy is an experience we hold very dear to our hearts.
